JK Cement WallMaxX is a white cement based putty formulated with imported Xtra Long Life Polymers (XLLP), which give longer life to painted surfaces. Its unique formulation gives smooth velvet like finish and brilliant whiteness while offering superior coverage. When applied to the surface, JK Cement WallMaxX provides high durability base coat, which resists flaking and gives additional strength to the mortar plaster.

Smooth & Glossy Finish: JK Cement WallMaxX is formulated with XLL Polymer which provides smooth and uniform finish to rough plasters.

Resists Flaking: JK Cement WallMaxX is formulated with XLL Polymer provides good Tensile Adhesion Strength & Compressive Strength, thus resist the flaking of paint and strengthen the walls

Longer Paint Life: JK Cement WallMaxX is formulated with XLL Polymer provides excellent adhesion to the paint film thus help is giving longer paint life to your wall

Surface Preparation
Remove all dust/loose particles from the surface and pre-wet the surface before application

Mixing Ratio
Mix JK Cement WallMaxX with 35%-40% clean water by weight

It is recommended that mechanical stirrer be used to mix putty with water to form a consistent lump-free paste

Application Step 1
The thoroughly mixed paste should be applied uniformly on the surface using a putty blade from bottom to top

Application Step 2
Allow the surface to dry for 4-6 hours before applying the second coat of JK Cement WallMaxX

Apply second coat of JK Cement WallMaxX evenly to smooth out the surface

Let the wall dry for 2-3 days before application of paint

*The imported Xtra Long Life Polymers (XLLP) added in JK Cement WallMaxX help reduce the chances of flaking of the painted surface and enhance its water repelling properties

**Volatile Organic Compound

JK Cement WallMaxX is a White Cement based fine powder which provides an ideal finishing for concrete / cement plastered walls and ceilings. It provides an ideal base for painting and damp resistant smooth finish for further application of all kinds of paints. It is very important to understand that damp resistance means resistance to water in humid air and not physical water contact / leakages.
Maximum thickness of 2 coats is 1.5 mm with an approx. achievable coverage of 35 sq ft./mm/kg of JJK Cement WallMaxX. However, actual coverage achieved depends on the base surface condition and finished thickness.
Painting can be done after 3 or more days after application of JK Cement WallMaxX but it should be ensured that JK Cement WallMaxX is completely dry before applying paint.
If due to salty water or salt in sand / bricks efflorescence is observed then the plastered surface should be treated with a mild acid like citric acid before the application of JK Cement WallMaxX otherwise the Wall Putty will not stick to the wall and problem of flaking may arise. After 30 minutes of treating the surface with mild acid, surface should be washed thoroughly so that no acid remains on the wall. After drying properly, JK Cement WallMaxX can be applied as normal. This treatment should be done under proper supervision.
During grinding of floor and skirting, slurry is produced. It sticks to the wall and becomes hard if not cleaned properly with wire brush before application of JK Cement WallMaxX. The putty applied on surfaces will not give good result. Therefore, before applying JK Cement WallMaxX near skirting it should be cleaned properly (with wire brush) and washed thoroughly to avoid flaking and poor adhesion, so that slurry deposited on the wall during grinding is removed totally. After drying the wall, putty can be applied as normal.
There are many reasons for (bubble) peel off. To obtain extra smooth and zero undulation finish, applicators exceeds the specified limit of thickness of JK Cement WallMaxX film and also because when second coat is applied over freshly (poorly set) applied first coat of JK Cement WallMaxX. The other reason could be that wall may have been painted earlier with cement paint or other paint which is water repellent. This results in reduced adhesion to wall and consequent spalling.
The pot life of JK Cement WallMaxX is 2 - 2.5 hours.
For making JK Cement WallMaxX mix approximately 33 to 38 percent of water is required by volume.
Product should be mixed in such quantities that it can be used within 2 hours of its preparation. Mixing could be done by electric mixer rather than manual mixing.
Ensure that surface is plastered or made with cementitious material. Ensure that surface is totally clean. Ensure that surface is moderately rough (Neither too-rough nor too-smooth). Ensure that surface is just wet. Over-wetting resulting in accumulation of water on surface should be avoided.
Apply second coat preferably after 4 hours in hot season & after 12 hours in cold season. Ensure that second coat is applied until first coat is fully set.
Always add water to JK Cement WallMaxX while making paste. Adding putty in water may lead to formation of small nodules which will reduce the performance of the putty.
Curing is not required after applications of JK Cement WallMaxX, However, after application, just sprinkling of water over applied surface for 2 days will enhance the hydration of cement particles which will give better results.
JK Cement WallMaxX is a White Cement based putty for plastered walls and ceilings. JK Coarse putty is a coarse powder specially formulated to be used as base coat to cover up undulation and uneven surfaces of cement plastered walls and concrete surfaces for exteriors and interiors. It can also be used directly over AAC Blocks, Hollow Blocks, Precast Wall, Over Concrete and Ceilings in 2 coats as per requirement varying from 4 mm to 10 mm.
